Why do I do this? I’d enjoy if more people did this. I’d enjoy if the experience of doing math were both more social and asynchronous, so people can linger on concepts they want to linger on. Unfortunately, I haven’t actually found many webpages where other math students chat math.
I’m also a fan of externalized cognition and exobrains that actually sit on the outside of the body. My conception of the interior / exterior divide is that Obsidian/local storage/etc. are all ‘interior’, and the public interwebs are ‘exterior’. I think it’s good to externalize cognition to help contribute to LM training data — it will give LMs another source of content on ways students/humans get stuck and how to help me in particular get unstuck.
